A full kit list will be posted on this page in the run up to the event.
Briefly, all competitors will need to bring camping kit, full FRA kit for racing and all food and cooking/eating equipment they need except for dinner on Saturday night.
If any of the kit requirements are a barrier to attending this event, please contact us and we will see what we can do.
Brief kit list for the weekend (this is by no means exhaustive)

- Sleeping bag (at least 2 season recommended)
- Roll mat/thermarest
- Warm clothes for camp
- Stove and fuel
- Plate/bowl/cutlery/mug
- Food for Friday evening, 2 breakfasts, lunch/hill snacks for both days – we will be providing food for Saturday evening.
Kit for the races
We expect all competitors to carry full FRA kit:
- Suitable footwear

- Hat and gloves
- Map of the route (provided)
- Compass
- Whistle
- Emergency food
For the Saturday event, we also expect you to carry:

Camping information
The event centre will offer space for camping for all competitors. The event centre will be open for pitching tents on the Friday evening from 6pm onwards.
On site there will be access to marquee space with tables and chairs for eating and socialising out of the elements.
There will also be drinking water and toilet facilities provided on the site.
Food
There will be no cooking facilities provided on the site and so it will be up to competitors to supply their own means of cooking food if required.
In order to control the costs of the event and due to the facilities available competitors will be required to provide their own breakfast, lunches and hill food for the event.
However, on the Saturday night of the event we will provide a communal meal for everyone. This will likely be a vegetarian/vegan chili. Please let us know if you have any specific dietary requirements.
For all other meals competitors will need to bring their own food.
*Please note, the event centre itself is in a remote area and therefore it will be key for competitors to ensure they bring sufficient food with them for the event.
